Here’s a day in the life of a Halston wedding showcase. On Sunday 20th October we welcomed brides and grooms to be through the doors to our last wedding showcase of 2019. With over 25 handpicked suppliers on offer, our Mail Room was packed out with local wedding experts and industry leaders all ready to assist our couples with their wedmin.

Alongside our trusty long term suppliers such as Mama Cakes, Camilla Lucinda, Northern Love Letters, Simply Koko Bridal and more, we welcomed some new additions and first time Halston exhibitors.
Joining us for the first time were Look & Cover – a new luxe collection of monogrammed sleepwear and wedding gifts, LL Creative Design – Carlisle based wedding stationery designer, Lush Carlisle, wedding filmmakers Unified Media and Joel Milner Media, Just The One – accessories by Sarah Millican, Simon Vogt – wedding host & DJ and Joshua Wyborn – a Halston favourite but first time exhibitor!

The first 50 brides and grooms to be through the doors were welcomed with a VIP goodybag including goodies such as the Lakes & Cumbria Wedding Magazine and homemade Halston macarons. Attendees were also the first to see our gorgeous new Halston wedding brochures designed by local creative agency Geo & co.

Our Exchange room was set up in a stunning banqueting trestle style, seating up to 60 people and demonstrating the flexibility of our venue. The feast worthy tables were beautifully adorned by Durham based, award winning floral & venue designer The Enchanted Florist. Julie, owner and head florist, spoke about the upcoming trends which include lots of pampas grass and dusky peach roses. In addition to the exhibitors, our team were on hand to meet and greet new couples giving venue tours and catching up with our current Halston couples.
