Autism Awareness Week: Autism Hour

1ST – 7TH APRIL, PENNY BLUE & BARTONS YARD

World Autism Awareness Day is an internationally recognised day taking place on 2 April every year. In the week surrounding this day, we will be raising awareness with two sets of Autism Hours in our restaurants, Penny Blue and Bartons Yard.

PENNY BLUE

Between 9am & 10am everyday 1st – 7th April Penny Blue will be turning off the music, lowering the lights and switching off the coffee grinders. Book a table for breakfast choosing from our delicious main menu or kids menu. There will be a quiet zone open at the back of the restaurant where you can choose to dine if you wish.

BARTONS YARD

After a successful Autism Hour in 2018, Bartons Yard Autism Hour will be returning everyday between 1pm & 2pm 1st – 7th April. Alongside lowering lights, music and switching off the coffee grinders we will also have a designated sensory chill out zone for those who want a space to relax in, away from the restaurant.

Throughout the week we will also be selling tickets to win a delicious raffle prize of classic afternoon tea for two. All funds raised will go to The National Autistic Society.
