Who We Are
We are Penny Blue, flagship restaurant of the multi award winning hotel The Halston and Carlisle’s Best Casual Dining Venue ( as voted by Carlisle Living).
Our restaurant and bar offers casual dining in a stylish space at the heart of the city and Carlisle’s growing independent restaurant scene. As part of the Penny Blue team you will also become part of the management team for The Halston and its little sister cafe, Bartons Yard.
Who You Are
We’re looking for a dedicated hospitality pro who has a minimum of 2 years of restaurant management experience. You are passionate about the industry and thrive in a busy, customer facing environment. You are not afraid to roll up your sleeves and get stuck in and have strong managerial experience which allows you to inspire and lead a large team.You are good with figures, stock and ordering and a wizard at dealing with customer queries. You know regulars by name and their favourite dish to order. Hotel experience a bonus but not essential. Sound like you?
